Reveler Development marked a major milestone last week with the grand opening of The Eddy, a new 250-unit multi-family community located at 8 Eddy Avenue. The celebration, held on Thursday, July 24, brought together local leaders, project partners, and community members for an evening event capped by a ceremonial tree planting in the building’s courtyard.
The tree planting—symbolizing new beginnings and growth—earned praise from Biddeford city officials, including Mayor Martin Grohman, who joined Reveler CEO John Laliberte, President Tom Watson, Managing Director Michael Barton, and Joe Porta of Porta Capital Partners for the ceremony.
“The Eddy brings thoughtfully designed, high-quality apartments to a strategic area of our city,” said Mayor Grohman. “Housing that connects people to jobs, downtown businesses, walking trails, and ultimately to each other is what we want more of in Biddeford. Projects like this require vision, persistence, and strong partnerships with the city—we’re grateful to the development team for bringing this to life.”
