Reveler Development, a leading real estate investment, development, construction and management company, is pleased to welcome Maine Venue Partners to The Foundry, a historic, revitalized structure that sits alongside the edge of the Saco River within The Levee community.
The Foundry, revitalized with the support of Brownfields grant funding, was completed in 2025. The original building dates to 1941 and was previously the location of a screw machine production facility. The Foundry benefits from its direct connection to The Levee’s current and future resident base and its proximity to downtown Biddeford, the RiverWalk, and Pearl Street Park.
Maine Venue Partners will utilize the entirety of the 20,000 square foot space as wedding and event venue, which will remain named as The Foundry. This project brings together the creative leadership of Laurie Andrews of Laurie Andrews Design, the hospitality expertise of Fausto Pifferrer of Blue Elephant Events & Catering, and the development vision of Reveler Development.

Set to open for events in Summer/Fall 2026, The Foundry on the Levee blends the raw character of Maine’s mill history with elevated, modern design. Featuring 35‑foot ceilings, dramatic factory windows, river views, and a fully integrated floral design studio, the venue introduces a new standard of editorial‑industrial style to the region. This riverfront venue can host 600 guests inside and 200 guests on the covered patio.
“Our goal has always been to create spaces that feel both iconic and deeply welcoming,” said Laurie Andrews, owner and creative director of Laurie Andrews Design. “The Foundry at the Levee is the culmination of years of dreaming, designing, and understanding what today’s couples and event hosts truly want.”
“Biddeford’s riverfront tells a powerful story of industry and craftsmanship,” said John Laliberte, CEO of Reveler Development. “Our role is to honor that history while thoughtfully adapting these structures for how people gather today. Collaborating with Laurie and Fausto allows us to pair historic revitalization with exceptional hospitality, creating a venue that feels both authentic and alive with energy.”
Maine Venue Partners is known for managing and transforming raw spaces into high‑performing event destinations. Led by Andrews and Pifferrer, the group has shaped the state’s event landscape for more than a decade through venue development, management, design, and hospitality strategy.
The Foundry on the Levee will host a wide range of events, including:
- Weddings and receptions
- Corporate meetings, retreats, and conferences
- Nonprofit galas and fundraisers
- Holiday parties and social celebrations
- Community gatherings and private milestone events
Its flexible layout, dramatic architecture, and built‑in production capabilities make it a standout choice for both large‑scale events and intimate, design‑driven experiences.
As part of this launch, Laurie Andrews Design—a leader in the event design industry for over 30 years—will relocate its full event design and production company from Portland directly into The Foundry on the Levee. The new space will offer a full floral design studio offering fresh flowers year‑round, a curated showroom for décor and design selection, and more.
“Having everything in one place is a tremendous advantage for our clients,” said Andrews. “You can walk the venue, explore the showroom, choose your décor, and collaborate with our design team all in a single visit. It’s efficient, inspiring, and truly unique in Maine.”
The Levee is an award-winning redevelopment that blends housing, retail, and cultural spaces into one cohesive neighborhood. Inspired by its riverside surroundings, it incorporates four connected developments built on a peninsula’s end along the Saco River. Connected to the RiverWalk and steps away from Biddeford’s historic downtown, The Levee is a vibrant riverside destination complete with modern apartments, for-sale condos and townhomes, boutique shops, and local dining.
