Reveler Development is pleased to announce that The Armature at Hanover Works has begun preleasing and is nearing construction completion, with an occupancy date scheduled for this fall.  

Our latest mixed-use development in Portland’s West Bayside neighborhood, The Armature at Hanover Works is located at 52 Hanover Street and will consist of a wide variety of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floorplans. Designed by Boston-based architecture and interiors firm CUBE 3, and constructed by Maine-based Penobscot General Contractors, The Armature will showcase a U-shaped, three-tiered exterior configuration with a living wall running along Parris Street. The 239,000 square foot building is set to feature an expansive collection of premier amenities throughout the building’s eight stories, including a spacious courtyard, pool, sky lounge, and indoor-outdoor fitness center.

When Reveler Development purchased 52 Hanover Street in 2017, the site was the last of six Portland public works buildings sold by the City of Portland for redevelopment. Once a mechanical garage and parking lot for the city’s public works vehicles, the history of the site inspired The Armature’s name and branding. As the City relocated its operations, 52 Hanover Street sat vacant. Now, with the announcement of preleasing, The Armature at Hanover Works heralds a new chapter for the area and for the community’s 200+ future residents.  

Along with the opening of preleasing, construction continues to progress at Hanover Works – the newest retail and dining destination in West Bayside. Encompassing the four commercial spaces on the ground floor of The Armature and the activated urban landscape of businesses at 82 Hanover Street, Hanover Works will soon serve as a vibrant community hub for residents of The Armature, neighbors and visitors to enjoy.
