Reveler Development, a leading real estate investment, development, construction and management company, proudly participated in Creative Portland’s 5th Biennial Arts & Culture Summit. The Summit brought together local stakeholders to discuss innovative ways to enhance Portland’s reputation as a hub of creativity and culture. Representing the company, Reveler’s President and Chief Financial Officer, Tom Watson, took part in a panel focused on expanding public art initiatives across the city.

“I am honored to take part in a conversation about what makes Portland special: the artists and the welcoming environments they help to shape,” said Watson. “At Reveler, our approach to each project is centered around uplifting community, with a focus on creating spaces that reflect a neighborhood’s history. Art tells that story. Thoughtful design, woven together by local artistry, enriches everyone’s experience, fostering a sense of connection and belonging.”

Public art has long been considered an asset that enhances resident experience, as it can lead to higher levels of community engagement and social bonding. The Armature, Reveler’s premier urban living community, embodies this vision by showcasing locally sourced art both in its amenity spaces and along its exterior.

Drawing inspiration from its historical context, The Armature’s art program honors the site’s industrial past as a mechanical garage and surface parking lot for Portland’s public works vehicles, and is captured in a thesis focused on the strength of interlocking pieces. The program was unveiled to the public last December with a ribbon cutting alongside Creative Portland and Portland city officials celebrating one of the city’s newest public art landmarks created by local artist Clint Fulkerson
