Reveler Development officially opened its multifamily development at 8 Eddy Ave. in Biddeford.
Project partners held a tree-planting ceremony in late July to mark the occasion, following the final phase of construction completion earlier this summer.
Mayor Marty Grohman joined John Laliberte, Tom Watson and Michael Barton — Reveler’s CEO, president and managing director — and Joe Porta of Porta Capital Partners.
“The Eddy brings thoughtfully designed, high-quality apartments to a strategic area of our city,” said Grohman. “And that’s what we want more of — housing that connects people to jobs, downtown businesses, walking trails and ultimately to each other.”
Said Laliberte, “I want to extend huge thanks to the team that made the Eddy possible: Penobscot General Contractors [Falmouth] for executing the vision, Market Square Architects [Portsmouth, N.H.] for bringing the concept to life, our investment and financing partners for believing in the long-term potential of Biddeford — including Joe Porta and Porta Capital Partners — and, of course, the city of Biddeford for supporting thoughtful, high-quality growth every step of the way.”
