Reveler Development is pleased to announce its continued partnership with Art of Biddeford, presenting a new series of art programming at The Foundry on Upper Falls Road. The series follows the opening of The Foundry in February of this year, where Art of Biddeford hosted an art exhibition and a range of events as part of the city’s WinterFest. The spring programming will run from March through May and aims to further activate The Foundry as a creative hub as it actively leases available commercial space.
“We’re thrilled to continue the momentum at The Foundry, following its successful opening during WinterFest weekend,” said John Laliberte, CEO of Reveler Development. “Located at The Levee, The Foundry presents a newly redeveloped space for artists, businesses, and the greater community. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Art of Biddeford and further supporting Biddeford’s thriving arts scene.”

The series this spring is once again being curated by the Biddeford-based interdisciplinary artist Julie K. Gray. She is bringing together a wide variety of art forms and local and regional artists to round out the programming.
From March 14-15, an interactive, immersive arts experience called Portl-1 took over The Foundry from 7:00-9:00pm each night. The event featured projections, inflatables, performances, and a “sculptural garden”. The sold-out experience was presented by Portl& Arts and Entertainment, an arts, entertainment, and technology company based in Portland, Maine.
Beginning in April, The Foundry will host ‘WOOD / METAL / FABRIC: Biddeford Furniture Makers and Woodworkers’. The curated exhibition of locally crafted furniture and functional art includes nationally acclaimed, Biddeford-based furniture makers Gabe Sutton and Derek Preble among others.
The exhibition will cap off in May, when mother and daughter artist duo Martha Miller and Kaitlin Miller showcase their works.

Bringing together artists, makers, curators, and the public lies at the heart of the mission of The Foundry. The 22,513 square feet of historic industrial space is located at 30 Upper Falls Road and was recently redeveloped into a premier riverside destination for retail, dining, and community connection. The Foundry is designed to host a mix of commercial tenants, public events, and creative collaborations, and is emerging as a new cornerstone in Biddeford’s evolving downtown.
